Yekaterina "Kathy" Bacenet

Yekaterina “Kathy” moved to the Lehigh Valley from New York in 2019 shortly after welcoming her daughter. Kathy brings with her an extensive background in Estate Planning, Real Estate, Guardianships and Estate Administration.

Prior to her relocation, Kathy handled Probate and Administration of Estates with New York Surrogate’s Courts and represented purchasers, sellers and lenders in real estate transactions. Her fluency in Russian often allowed her to assist clients and put them at ease with with a thorough explanation of their legal matters.

Upon admission to practice in Pennsylvania, Kathy joined the law firm of Gross McGinley, LLP in center city Allentown, where she spent two years as an Associate with the Wills, Trust and Estates Department. During her time at the Allentown firm, Kathy developed a proficiency with the Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax Return and assisted numerous clients in the administration of their loved ones Estates.

Since her admission to the Pennsylvania Bar and legal community, Kathy has become a member of the Estate Planning Council of the Lehigh Valley and Lehigh Valley Aging in Place. She is passionate about advocating for the elderly community and often shares her expertise in the area of Estate Planning and Elder Law as featured speaker at various educational events.
